Reconstructing the collapse of Anak Krakatau Provided by Pete Rowley, University of Bristol Classroom activity Description:This activity takes students through the process of using satellite imagery to first of all interpret how the collapse of Anak Krakatau volcano occurred in 2018, and then to make first order estimates of the volume of the landslide which resulted. Students then compare their findings with those of published literature to compare and contrast.
