Ocean acidification in a test tube Provided by Dr Sarah Greene, University of Birmingham Classroom activity Description:

This is a hands-on demonstration showing how the addition of anthropogenic carbon dioxide to the atmosphere acidifies the ocean. The exercise can be extended to demonstrate one pathway by which ocean acidification will be ameliorated in future, either naturally or potentially enhanced by geoengineering.
