Visible Geology is a free, interactive online tool for students to build simple 3D geological models, visualise cross sections, work with stereonets and experiment with the concept of apparent dip. It has a simple and intuitive interface that students can quickly grasp and its 3D nature helps them more quickly understand concepts that are difficult to teach in 2D.
